Oregon Caves National Monument

Dubbed the "Marble Halls of Oregon" by Joaquin Miller "poet of the Sierras" these caves truly are magnificent and of more earthy tones than the general limestone cave of the west.  All 6 major rock types can be found here in wondrous formations of cave pearls, moonmilk and soda straws.  Above ground is equally beautiful with old growth forests, wildlife and trails throughout.
